Hi Moarein,

Your Victory is looking great, I'll take your word on the 5068 knots.

Cheers,
Stephen.

I like your victory and the woody feel of the plastic model, especially the yellow color scheme. I will experiment with these colors on my surprise.

Hello again:)
I was a little late with the ship, because I decided to make a present for my daughter for Christmas. It took me about a month to invent it and do ...
She is a big Harry Potter fan and has all the books.
I decided to make her a small diorama, which is placed on the shelf between the books.
I used different waste trees - maple, pear and walnut.
Оn the left is Olivander's magic wand shop, on the right is something like a bookstore, at the bottom is the door of the Gringotts bakery :)
The walls are made of plastic, the lighting is made of 3 volt LEDs. Power supply - 2 batteries x 1.5 volts.
It turned out to be something like a box within a box.
I'm showing some pictures, I'm sorry it's off topic.
Greetings and Merry Christmas to all!

Hi Moarein,

Fantastic work, nothing like a home made gift, something your daughter will treasure.

Cheers,
Stephen.

I started the sails.
First cut - to see how they stand on the ship.
I had a problem with the bowsprit - distorted because of the bars.
I had to strengthen the lower support.
Now is good.

Looking great Moarein,

The plastic Dolphin striker is flimsy, on my Victory I re-made it from brass.

Cheers,
Stephen.
