To me, the hinges and the “Z” reinforcement make a two-piece hatch pretty much unusable — but then again, what do I know…
Tobias mentions a deck, bottom hatch divided into two parts. Not a door.
Hi Jim, Kuba was right, I meant the one in the deck floor. However, I'm not sure if the plan shows the door at the front or if it's at the stern. In Vladimir's pictures, you can see another hatch further back in the floor, which fits the plan better.
 
I see that you notice all the details, which is correct Thumbs-Up. Personally, I think that my design of the one-piece cover is correct. In drawing 20 it is difficult to see, but if you look at drawing 18 (top view), Tobias, I think it is clear.
 
Now I noticed, Tobias, that part of the plan in the photo corresponds to the cover that is on the far left in the second photo.
