Le Redoutable 1/48

I want to indroduce my follow-up project after my La Belle. Modelling ships is an evolution. For me it is, so i will go one step further and try to draw my own plan for a plank on frame modell.
I will try to build the famous Redoutable which has her part in the history in the battle of Trafalgar.
The Redoutable was refitted in 1794 in Brest based on the plans of the Tigre. The Tigre was captured in 95 and, business as usual, measured in Portsmouth.
My project is based on the contemporary plans availible in the NMM.
The plan is now to draw the whole Timberingplans and to reconstruct the ship to get drawings for a POF-Modell.
First i measured the plan than i put more than 900 measureingpint into the cad to build the hull. The designing from the hull is now complete.
next steps are the position from the stationframes, the postionion from the fasionpiece and the cantframes in the bow. After this i will create the Innerhull for the thickness
of the frames.

Thank you very much, my friend. Its good to read all the wishes.
At the moment there is a little downswing in shipmodelling. My little daughter me contaminated with Taekwondo and i fight to get my first belt.
But i work on CAD on the Redoutable and there are some perparations to continue with the model. There are a lot of research progresses as well for the Bucentaure. Behind the facts it looks that this ship will be a absolute stunning project. The tiny La Belle will now have a longer break.
 
After a sabbatical year, the work on Redoutable continues.
I replaced my big tablesaw for a bandsaw and i did some modifications in my lightsystem to get more light in the middle of the ship.
On the CAD i added a lot of deckdetails, now i work on the riders to check the points on the keelson.
On the model i added 58 fillingpieces with drainingholes. Every one is a individual part for a individual place.
I shaped the portside and starbordside of the innerhull, the starboardside looks very good, the portside maybe 85%.
Next step will be the keelson.
