These are really nice details Sasha. Once blackened some of these things will only be visible if someone looks closely - I like those additions to the ship as they bless the person who takes the time to explore the smallest details.

Hello Sasha. That is such a good idea. Finishes off the gun port hoists really well. Cheers GrantFriends, hello everyone and have a nice day.
Continuation of the construction of the Victory ship model.
I made guides for the hoists of the gun ports. First, I made a template for marking the drilling sites. Marked over each gun port on the lower two decks of the gondek and middeldek. I drilled holes with a diameter of 1.5 mm and a depth of 5 mm. I cut pieces from a brass tube and inserted them into the holes. After processing the sides, I will blacken the ends of the tubes already in place. Photo result

Exactly Sasha. It may not be all that visible or have a spectacular vision impact on its own, but it's a vital aspect of adding to the overall looks and accuracy of the model! Thanks Paul. It's these little things that make up the overall look of the model.
Good morning Sasha. Thanks. Yes I back to normal, off the pain meds and ready for action. I think in a few more days the plasters can come off and all I will have is the scar to remember it by.. cheers GrantHi Grant. Thank you.

That's correct, Sanya! I was about to reply that the breeching was set incorrectly on your first post. The far most rings were used as load tackles when the gun was required to reload and was never used as breeching line path. Great job you corrected.I tied the trousers, as indicated in DeAgostini's journals. And then I came across a photo from the museum, and I had doubts about whether these guns had the right trousers. I consulted with fellow modellers and it turned out that it was not right. Now I'm redoing the binding
