Hi Sasha! Beautiful stand and love your work. Glad to see you posting again.
Hello Wojtas. A variant of a carved stand on both sides was considered. Visually, it turned out to be very light (airy) or something. I did not like. This option is more suitable for the size and weight of the model. Something more brutal. Can't explain it betterHi Sasha
It's good to see you back. This CNC carved stand is really work of art, but why only one side?
I hope you won't make us wait another month for new update
Good morning Sasha. You have been busy on your Victory. Brilliant work and what a stunning stand. I'm not a fan of closed ports, however yours are perfect and will look really good with the hinges. It is really good to see a Victory with the wales and gun ports accurately done, especially from kit models. You have done some "bashing" on this build. Cheers GrantAh, here's another. A friend made me a stand for Victory. CNC carved from beech woodView attachment 359974View attachment 359975
I'll cover it with oil later.
Thanks MarcoHi Sasha
I like your build and, of course, your stand !
I will continue to follow you with pleasure
Marco

How did you get it to curl on the ends, Sasha? I can believe it took several hours.Hi all. Thanks friends for the likes and comments. They help you move on. I finished decorating the stern. Yesterday I spent 6 hours on these 4 bars. They also had a section of 2x2 mm, and I did not like these slabs.

Then with a section of 1.4x1.4 mm. By trial and error came to this option.

I liked this option better.
Vic, this really took hours. The bar had to be bent to a diameter of 8 mmHow did you get it to curl on the ends, Sasha? I can believe it took several hours.
