Hello Ted, I believe that I had 9 hoops for each mast, you may need an extra one or two depending just how you space them, Have fun.

Made a bunch of the hoops as most were raggedy.
Once again using .5mm thick shavings made this process easier and improved the finished hoop dramatically.
The results are so improved that I would scrap the original set made for the lower masts had I not run out of scrap wood from my Swift project.

Hello Ted, I never glue in the mast to the hull, it is nice to be able to align and rotate the mast. Your shrouds will keep it in place once you lace up your dead eyes, hope this helps.
