If your like me and don't own the Rif Winfield "British Warships in the Age of Sail " set of Volumes or just plain can't afford the astronomical prices being asked for them, then I would very highly recommend this book.
The title says what it is, but the amount of information on each page accompanied by planned drawings is absolutely superb, there is no page left empty, the information contained is superb.
Imho 367 pages of superb detail.

Today my copy of "VASA II" arrived.
As Fred Hocker wrote "initial print run is 1700 copies, so get'em while they're hot".

This is a facsimile edition (1993) of the second revised edition of 1858-1862 (First edition: 1833-1848).
'Based on the Dutch naval archives, a large part of which were destroyed in a fire in the archives of the Dutch Department of the Navy in 1844. By default therefore this history had to come in the place of the lost primary documents.'

Just received my copy of James Lees’ “The Masting and Rigging of English Ships of War”.
It was “New” still in plastic wrap.
This was inside the front cover!
Personally thought that was pretty neat!
