Norske Løve, Billing Boats, Scale 1:75

Very good and accurate planking works - hope you can continue a similar quality under the waterline with the challenges of bow and stern
Defintely you are on a very good way

Thank you, Uwe. Yes I know it's gonna be a bit tricky, especially at the stern and it sure is a bit different from my previous model of the Norske Løve. Think it was easier at that time when I didn't need to bend the planks that much.

Norske Løve update. Finally back in the workshop. Some heart surgery put me on hold for a while, new aorta valve and a pacemaker installed. Today is quite a rainy day, so a good opportunity to restart

. Anyhow, still trying to figure out the best way to get a nice line of the boardwalk towards the stern. Looking at a few ideas from other fellow shipbuilders

Krister- I've only seen black & white pics of the Norske in my rigging manuals, & always admired this ship. But to see it in color, & the marvelous job you are doing with it makes me very eager to see the progress! You are truly a talented ship builder! Congratulations, & Thank You!!

Good afternoon Krister. I happy your surgery went went and you are back in the shipyard. Lovely planking, looking very good. Cheers Grant

Hi @Krister_L ,
The planking looks really great. Really interested to see your progress.
By the way, "join the club"; I've had aorta valve transplant & ICD implant +- 5 yrs ago.
Not a small surgery but happy with the result; as without it I would not be on this planet any longer ;)
Take care and happy modeling.
