Norske Løve update: Due to my heart surgery and following complications, not much has been done to the ship this spring. Anyhow, in the meantime I managed to upgrade my workshop a little with a storage place for tools and material, and a band saw from Proxxon. Now I'm just waiting for a rainy day to start working on the ship again
Just came upon your build log and must say "Well done". Your planking is remarkable. Also like your fixture for 'bending the wrong way'

I have developed a great appreciation for Nordic ships, especially of the three Anglo-Dutch Wars period. Your Norske Lowe is stunning! You have done a remarkable job of planking; it is absolutely stunning! Get well soon!

Norske Løve update: So, finally a rainy day and a new aproach to continue planking the hull, think I'm going to end up with something like this. This one is just soaked and kept in place for pre-bending, might be some adjustments before gluing.
Norske Løve update: Not rainy today, but cloudy enough . Now also port side plank soaked and clamped for pre-bending. I'll try to glue it before Formula 1 starts in Barcelona.
Norske Løve update: Even though it's sunny outside I couldn't keep my fingers off the ship. Decided to wedge off the already glued planks att the stern. This is going to look way better when it's finished I hope.
Norske Løve update: A computer crash kept me busy for a few days, but it's fixed now. Today is a rainy day, so I prepare for another plank. Slowly moving forward

Norske Løve update: For some reason I've started to like rainy days Added a few more planks and inserted wedges both at the stern and the bow. Not too bad I think.
