Well life and other interests have kept me away from the ship. So I decided to do something on the list at the stern. There is a crown up top center. So I modeled one and created a file to print. And I printed it…

This is why I didn’t try to carve it, about the size of a pea!

Then I painted and dry brushed it.

And on the ship. That was way more time and effort than you can imagine just to add one tiny element. But then again, since ya’ll build ships too, you can relate!

Good morning Dean. It is a pleasure to see your NL again....even if it just the "rear end" . Your 3D printing design is pretty good (way better than mine. I'm trying to get AI to design for me but this is too a learning curve. I want to download a pic and it must make it for me) - cool looking crown. Cheers Grant

Thanks Grant. I had to model it in Cad first referencing a picture. Then I had to export a STL file. Import that into Chitubox slicer software and create a print file with supports. Then print it, clean it and cure it. And finally paint it. But it came out nice, so worth it.
