Pocher 1:8 scale Lotus 72 [COMPLETED BUILD]

And now the final photos, as this build is officially completed!
Like I have said before, I am a model builder, not a photographer! ROTF So I just tried to take enough photos to show the different angles and details with appropriate light using my IPhone 8 camera. ;)
So excuse the quality and quantity. Here they are…

Well I think I have shown enough images, perhaps even too many. ;)
I would like to say thank you to everyone who followed this build, and for all the comments. It is always much appreciated. I hoped I shared some details and techniques that will inspire others, and I hope you enjoyed this journey with me.
Take care, and happy modeling!

I just love it Dean, my eyes have always been drawn to the real looking disc brake rotors first, then the stainless steel mesh tubing, then just scanning the rest as pure eye candy. This is amazing, thanks for sharing.

Good morning Dean. Excellent. A fun build to follow. I think F1 drivers today are spoilt with tech and ergonomics. Looking at your lotus it seemed as long as there was plenty of power to the back wheels and these where kept on the ground with that massive rear wing that’s enough- the rest up to the driver. Must have been a handful. Cheers Grant

Thank you Grant! I really enjoyed this build of my first F1 car model. There will definitely be more in my future. ;)

Nice! It’s always impressive to have a wonderful collection of F1 cars. Deviation: there is a restaurant/pub on the beach in my town called Maranello and they have model cars all over the place (my favorite restaurant- Arlene not so much) . Mainly die cast. Some impressive ones. When I’m there next I will take some proper pics. These were just from my table last week. Plenty more.
