POF L'Amarante Corvette de 12 canons 1744 1:36 (Ancre Monograph- Gérard Delacroix) By Shota

Hello dear friends
I am happy to announce that the repair work of the planking has been completed to my satisfaction.
While working I also prepared the sheave/s and installed them together with the wooden boards.

In addition, I created with the help of milling T channels in the two quarters of the crescent to contain the floral decoration of the bow in the future. For this purpose I also made a special/adjusted jig to prevent the quarters from moving

now I like it too ;)

Good evening dear friends
In the last few days I continued to work on the bow of the ship.

I made the two pairs of decorations in the supports the the bow head, I think they are called cheeks.
I will attach pictures illustrating the creative process, I'm a bit tired. I should mention that I have made a metal profile with which I engraved/carved the cheeks.
wish you all a pleasant weekend

A beautiful composition of parts with elegant lines and nice color tunes, Shota.

Dear Shota. Of all the build logs, yours was the one where I had the most catching up to do. I stand simply amazed at how far you have come in this form of art. You are truly a glowing example to all of us when it comes to dedication, motivation and sheer doggedness to create something so beautiful. I take my hat off to you my friend to deliver work of this standard at a time when things cannot be easy for you.

hello my dear friends
in the last few weeks I started with the limberboard (1x1mm), and the inner planking .
I started with an in-depth study of the drawing boards as well as a dialogue with our good friend Tobias. After I was sure that I understood the work correctly, I started with the measurements of the lower/first boards as well as the upper boards that will be made to support the beams on which the upper deck will be placed. I am attaching pictures of the two boards that border the first inner planking on the main deck and the lower one closest to the keel.
This is just the beginning and I have a lot of work ahead of me, but that's all the fun.
I wish you all a pleasant and enjoyable weekend
Merry Christmas to celebrating soon and a happy new year

my dear friend Heinrich
thank you very much for your kind words and compliments for my work. I'm trying to my best and to learn from you and all good friends how are helping us
it's a great honor to get your kind words

My dear friend Shota,
L'Amarante looks simply enchanting. I'm glad you were able to understand the explanation. It won't be long now and you'll have caught up with me. As soon as I'm finished with the conversion I'll get back to work on La Palme, I've been itching to get started since Evian.
