POF L'Amarante Corvette de 12 canons 1744 1:36 (Ancre Monograph- Gérard Delacroix) By Shota

My dear friend, I know very well what it means to faithfully reproduce the nailing of a model! However, I must point out a small error in your execution: I enclose a drawing (which I did very quickly by hand): the arrangement of the nails should be as in the picture on the left....

Hello Shota my dear friend,
a very nice result. Yes, I agree with you, it is a time-consuming process, first drilling everything and then putting in the nails, you can be proud of yourself.
my dear friends Tobias
thank you very much for your kind words and encouragement, I will continue to work patiently and precisely, inspired by you.

my dear friend Ricci
Thanks for your guidance, I try to do the drilling according to the drawing you mentioned, I will make sure they look more correct. I watched your and Tobias' amazing work and from there I realized that this is the correct shape at the angle. I will make sure the angle is clearer.

What they all said Shota. I’m not sure about the nailing pattern on French corvette’s but the look of your ship is amazing. Wonderful work. Cheers Grant
my dear friend Grant
thank you very much for your kind words and compliments, I Appreciate it very much

Hi dear friends
I am happy to announce that after a month and a half of work, I have completed the exterior nailing work.
The work included creating 2000 holes, manufacturing 2000 nails and installing them, sanding the nail heads all the way to preserve the square appearance and smoothing the planking, and finally applying linseed oil to the boards.
I will share the result with you and wish you all a pleasant and enjoyable weekend.

Good morning Shota,
a truly beautiful result and another milestone reached. If you want to completely cover one side, don't wait until you've started the interior. I'm currently having a real problem attaching the planks to the outside, as I can't get the clamps to fit properly. I'll continue with the same procedure for the next step on La Palme.

Good evening dear friends
in the last week focused on preparing/opene the windows on the front of the ship's side.
I also created the water channels in the wooden cubes located in the space between the frames in the lower third and along the frames in the lower part closest to the keel.
I'm not a great photographer
Wishing everyone a pleasant and enjoyable weekend
