Good evening my dear friends:)

I am happy to announce that after more than a month and a half, today I finished preparing and installing about 5000 boxwood nails into the pear wood boards that make up the planking, along the contours of the frames.
This is a Sisyphean work how task of turning thin square boards with a thickness of 1 mm and lengths of 25 cm into long pins with a diameter of 0.7 mm. after that I have cut the long pin into different sizes at an oblique angle, so that it can be easily inserted into the hole in the wall of the planking board.
Before that, this was preceded by a careful and precise work of marking the line of the frames behind the planking. then I marked with a needle a point and then drilling a hole with a diameter of 0.7 mm.
In total, I created about 5000 nails + about 5000 round holes + about 5000 nail installations in the prepared holes = that is, I'm talking about about 15,000 work operations.
Now I have a few hundred square brass nails left in the ebony planking that connects the waterline. Attaching a few pictures for your impressions
I wish everyone a pleasant weekend and fun building ship models

Receiving such a compliment from a master craftsman like you is a great honor!!!
I am indeed pleased with the result, but there is always room for improvement in the quality of the result

As the others have said, an amazing job Shota. Your patience undertaking 15,000 work operations to complete this task has resulted in a beautiful result.
Roger, my dear friend
