Paul, I have a big one in my garage but now that winter is coming, I want to work mostly indoors with less dusty work,
then the mini vice will be of good use.

A very usefull help is this marine dictionary who arrieves yesterday in my shipyard. The book translates the technical terms about steam, iron, and woodenships between english, french and german. The original was puplicated in 1885 and has more than 900 pages. This reprint has 250 pages. If he reaches on his limit i will looking for the original. For 5 euros it´s a catch.

Ahoy shipmates,
I too have been spending my hard earned retirement money on tools.
recently I have acquired:
-jeweler’s coping saw
-several rolls of copper tape
-carbide scriber
-mini tin snips (micro-marktools.com)
-mantua made “strip clamp & hull holder vise”
So now i’m covered for tackling the problem of cutting out very small ship adornments from solid copper sheets. I’ve watched some YouTube videos on how to use coping saws.
and i’m also covered if the coping saw thing goes awry. (Copper tape).
Regards from Acadiana.

To sand and control the surfaces inside from my La Belle i bought these tools. I hope they will work how i imagine.

Good tools, which you will also use in future for other necessities.
For the sander one tipp: The available precut sanding stickers will collapse very fastly - I took than double sides gluing tape and used other cheap sanding paper.
The sanding paper of Proxxon is much too expensive and you will get poor..........
