Steam pinnace Janet

G'day Daniel, when I worked in the shipyard you should have seen the Frigates we built for the Royal Navy in there different stages of construction, and then the finished ship as she slid down the weighs, looked like two different ships, yours will be Ship Shape and Bristol Fashion,

best regards John,

Hello All
Today is Romania Day
SO I worked a bit at my ship
Fist thing was to mitigate a little wobble of the pulley that is attached to the propeller axe
Bought an cnc fixture but no much improuvement

And last I build the cover of the rudder part .

Hello ALl
Last update for today

Sadly white hornbeam is finished and with the war going
Bibigon is unreacheble from my place .
The aft cabin will have roof in yellow pear too so no big deal

Hello All
Today is a rainy day so I worked a little bit at my model
I found a place for the receiver and the on off switch
The wobble of the engine is still present so I have to find an alternative solution
I bought a new axe and will find an new solution for transmission
Also I have to find a place for the servo

Hello All
I finnaly have some time to modify the transmission on my Janet
Hope to finish with the wobble
I ordered some pulleys from germany and surprise , even germans are not so precise as told or I got one tough luck
the 12 teeth pulley is 5 mm bore and my propeller shaft is 4 mm bore
Glad to order a 16 teeth 4 mm bore to replace the 12
but the belt is shorter so I had to make adjustement on the motor position
I reach a solution that help remove the motor from cabin . and tomorrow will try to see if it-s working proprely

In the hope to glue la aft cabin I work on servo position
After some position where it stay in the way of different pieces I reach a conclusion
I will put under a bench in the aft and will ve a lost servo ( will can not be moved after gluing the cabin)
I am ok with this conclusion and now I did some dry fitting
Wili have to glue with epoxy resin
Any Advice ?

Hello All
Yesterday I made a little deviation from original , I was puting a skylight on the aft cabin roof.
Projected the pieces and cut them ,now I was dry fitted them .
The reasoning is I have to exhaust the air from first cabin that cooled the esc
so the skylight will have a mobile part
Also the roof is big and is a little bit empty
This is the first try at roof structure

Good going Daniel - now you are on a roll! I am so happy to hear that all vibration is gone - that would have bugged me to no end.
