Hey Brian,
The speed with which you're getting through this build puts my humble efforts to shame. She's looking really good. I just have to ask, what did you use to replicate the AVGAS pipe along the port side? Particularly, what have you used as mounts/spacers along the pipeline?
The Midwest Model Shop have started producing some really nice 3D printed products. Looking at some of their Titanic additions. Did it take long to arrive from the US after you ordered?I purchased some 3D printed US navy ladders and floater baskets in 1/200 scale from the Mid west hobby shop. Although they are for the USS Missouri , they fit perfectly on the Arizona.

Looking really good Brian. What did you use for the weathering detail on the large cutters?Hello friends,
It’s been a few months since I have posted about my build. After finishing my USS California, I am now back on the Arizona .
I have finished the turrets and superstructure, and fitted the floatplanes. Currently working on the two observation towers and need to attend to painting touch ups.
A few photos of my current situation, thanks for your interest.

Bryian, you do realize those 2 planes are of the wrong time period of that ship as supposed to have Kingfishers which are monoplanes.
Looking really good Brian. What did you use for the weathering detail on the large cutters?
look at my post #74 for what you have to do for the 1938 time period that your model is currently is not as it is around the 1940/41 time period configuration minus the aircraft.
Hey Brian,I am puzzled by this David. They were included in the 3D printed set of aftermarket parts sent from China. I was trying to depict the ship before Pearl harbour, circa 1938. I also refrained from painting the turrets red as most modellers do.
Remember that day back in 38 when FDR came onboard and looked around. 'You men there, where are those gun tubs I sent? Should they not be up with them1.1"guads? and why the hell are there no splinter shields around the 5.25's?' I was a navy man back in the war you know.if trying to do circa 1938 then the gun tubs for the quad 1.1" gun mounts are not to be there & neither is the splinter shields around the 5"25cal aa guns on the superstructure deck.
