The output of these milling machines is causing me to give second thought to what I am able to produce by hand cutting and filing which is more variable than what I want but at times have accepted as something that will be covered over/passed by later on. Huhmmmm ????? More sheckles at risk in the account. PT-2 (Rich)

Tonight I focused on building the
timber that joins the stern transom
frames to the last cant frame, frame III. and Another frame is installed between frame III and the stern transom frames.
I admit that the road to the end result was continuous in the production of parts that did not fit enough in place or were not beautiful enough.

in the last day I focused on the Final finishes of the Hull Framework , specifically the Framing The Stern Transom.
I'm a little tired, so let the pictures speak for themselves, except for two decorative additions I allowed myself to add to the Transoms in the exterior parts, which contributed to the beauty without compromising the ship plan.

today I progressed to the next step in the ship's construction process.
the construction and gluing of the exterior planking and the Wales.
I marked the contours Lines, I designed the first board and then painted it black (three coats of paint).

Hello dear friends
This time I share a different topic from the model.
In the last six months, a group of more than ten ship model builders has been organized here in Israel.
We meet once a month / two months for friends' meetings in which we share models we have built or are building these days, tools and more. When today was a special meeting in which we met for a special tour led by one of the members of the group who was involved in building the replica of the ancient Phoenician ship from Maagan Michael.

These days the ship / replica has been returned for renovation due to defects created by sea worms.
Attaches for you pictures of the replica - the special anchor, planking, steering wheel, keel board connection and more details. By the way, one of the special things about the ship is that its ribs were assembled after the construction of the planking boards and are not attached to the keel at the beginning of construction as was customary in the second millennium AD. The group, who voluntarily rebuilt and built the replica, did an amazing job, maintaining fidelity to the ship's originality and uniqueness.
