Ok, then quickly back to my pictures:

The single parts are just plugged in. The bow- and stern-section is already glued, but I will edit the baseplate again before gluing the two parts together. I try to widen the cut-outs a little bit, so that I don't have to use excessive force when completing the parts later.

By the way, the broken part is in the bow section. I have the impression that this part is crooked in its shape and once the keel is cut out, I will have to give this part special treatment to make it fit.

I cut out the first parts for the keel raw. Next I will work on them, from which you can see the next pictures.

The first pictures show the parts of the aft keel on the form from the construction kit. (Or is template better?) As you can see on the next picture, both - template and wooden part, are not congruent. Here I have to rework quite a lot.

The next 3 pictures show the complete components of the keel. At first only roughly cut out, afterwards already roughly cleaned. Meanwhile they fit into the mould, but I will have to rework them quite a bit.
Next I will finish the stern part and then glue it together

All parts put together are under a lot of tension in the mould, so all parts have to be sanded.

Is there a better word for the mould, in which the parts are checked for a perfect fit? As a little help with language difficulties? Or do you know what I mean?

Here I have brought you the different parts of the keel together into the form. In the meantime they fit better, but there are already some gaps.

especially the two macros (picture 6 and 8) show some deviations or gaps in the fit.

The two pictures show my underlay for joining the aft keel: a tile from our bathroom and a 1 cm thick glass plate to weigh down. Or should I at least fix the keel parts with clamps?

Hello, If parts are tight & snug fit in the template, use it. This will ensure alignment. You can still use clamps along with the template. But make sure you are using the glass or in your case is a tile to lay down the parts inside the template.

After a long time here again a sign of life from me.

In the meantime, I have also started to glue the individual parts of the keel at the stern. But I am still not completely satisfied. I still have to work on it.
