If not standing back at least letting arms and shoulders hang down and rest a bit, I have to do that after each row often.
Is that just code for: take a nap...?I just do physical therapy for shoulders and neck three times a day.
I'm too old and not old enough for naps.Is that just code for: take a nap...?
lol....what's a quick one? IMHO all wood kits are challenging as I'm sure you can attest to. Personally I love these solid hull Sterling, Scientific and yellow box Model Shipways kits. I bought a mess of them years ago but only built 3 of them: Phantom, Joe Lane, Volante. I guess I became a collector more than a builder. I've sold of quite a bit of my collection except for these solid hull kits which I feel really attached to. There's a rare Sterling kit (already in my collection) on ebay right now of the USS Kearsarge 32.75 in length. Scale 1/4 in=9.1in. Taking offers or buy for $130.50 if anyone interested in a quickie, lolI looked online and found several of these kits for under $30. If you’re looking for an inexpensive quick one after a massive galleon, this could be the one.
Interesting. I wish I didn’t have my hands full already. I see it has real deadeyes too.lol....what's a quick one? IMHO all wood kits are challenging as I'm sure you can attest to. Thanks, Pete! These old Scientific kits are fun ,but can be a bit challenging and frustrating for those of us who are anally retentive.
Beautiful work! waaay beyond the call. Nicely done!

Thanks for peeking in! I've been taking a break this past week or so, Dean. Kids and grandkids visiting from Omaha, Father's Day the week before, and anniversary. 45 years today. Choir practice tonight means no celebration today--maybe tomorrow we can go to a baseball game tomorrow. After that, I can start back up on the ship.Had to do some catching up Vic, this is definitely an exercise in patience! Great job thus far.
Congratulations on 45 years. I had my 49th anniversary about 2 weeks ago. Thanks for peeking in! I've been taking a break this past week or so, Dean.
