I bent the planks without soaking them and I had no trouble doing so.

It is a good idea to taper the thickness of extremes of the planks where they superimpose ort you will end with a very high pile ok planking at bow and stern, if you see what I mean. The planks if I remember well are .8mm ply and I reduced them to about half the thickness.

That clinker planking at the stem and stern are difficult to do and lay down as well as you have done. Very nice. Rich (PT-2)
