….. and enough time to spend on those little buggers to be rigged ………I did a search for "rigging deadeyes" and got enough hits to spend the afternoon reading.
Yup, it’s turned into a major project. First the research, then the thinking, then the effort.….. and enough time to spend on those little buggers to be rigged ………
This is all that matters…Good morning Jan and so far so good with those nasty little deadeyes. Cheers GrantThe jig may look ugly, etc. But it’s working for me.

I find it humorous that once I find a solution the work progresses very quickly. I'm still a "Novice" and learning as I go.Excellent, Jan! I am glad you find a solution that works for you. You now see the value of placing all the deadeyes first, that way it is so much easier to get the heights and alignment correct. Those first two look great!
True story Jan. I am a Lazy person so I’m always looking for some jig to make matters easier. They don’t always go as planned though. Cheers GrantI find it humorous that once I find a solution the work progresses very quickly. I'm still a "Novice" and learning as I go.

True, true. A first for us though, I had to go to Wikipedia and look up the terminology. It takes a strange combination of weather conditions to cause that effect.Hmm, as long as it aren’t cats, dogs or hayforks you don’t have to worry I think…
