ZHL motorised Rope Walk, by neptune,

Well, I put the finger on the purchased button. The chinese rope machine, the same as ZHL but 214 CAD + 85 CAD for shipping from Zj CN Model Co. instead of 333 CAD + 143 CAD shipping from ZHL, on AliExpress. Supposed to receive it Jan 03. Now waiting for duties fees (premium AliExpress shipping).

Thanks for all of you on this thread. I really hesitate before thaking this way of making rope with this machine, but you comfort me to do it.

ZHL is certainly a safe supplier. I really don't know about the others. Zj CN Model had a good evaluation too, so I choosed him.

I am still assembling mine. I haven't spun any ropes yet, but then again I am retired and not in a hurry.
 
I am now fully retired since two weeks. Cool thing to do however that will complete the agenda.

I purchased these tow accessories on Amazon to complete the machine ; with care to ease the installation on wood, especially for the switch.

1- One PWM with the following specs in hope that is a good one :

Input Voltage: DC 9-60V
Output Current: 0-20A
Power: 1200W
PWM Frequency: 25 KHz
Adjustable Speed Range: 0-100%
Speed Adjustment Way: Potentiometer
Output Voltage: Linear under load Efficiency: >90%
Size: Approx. 92 x 52 x 36mm / 3.6 x 2.0 x 1.4in

2- Switch SPST : Rocker Toggle Switch LED Illuminated Red, with Waterproof Boot Cap Cover, 20A 12V-24VDC, 3 Pin SPST ON/Off

I am not electronic specialist, so I have to try it with faith.

That's a lot of stuff. What were you going to do with those things, if you don't mind me asking? I didn't need anything else for mine.

Ok I get it, thanks. That is what I told Neptune but I have since decided that I would not bother. It is not designed properly, and dangerous.
 
In fact, I think about it as a bew electronic project and it does not matter to add it and try to upgrade securily if it is possible or to use my sewing machine to replace that function.
 
Well, purchased made 12th dec, and not yet processed by Zj. It is my first time with AliExpress. They have an extend processing time option over the expected time of processing the order. If I do nothing, the expiration of this time is in 2 days. Somebody had experience with AliExpress ? Should I extend the time or go with the automatic cancellation ? How is the refund with them, is this a fluent process ?

Next option maybe is to purchased from ZHL at 180$ difference in price. ZHL is thrusty supplier too.
