USS BONHOMME RICHARD - POF - Cross Section in Pear - 1:48 [COMPLETED BUILD]

Thanks for the info. Would the Americans use the French style?
I tried to research a little bit more about this question.

The sketch you showed in post #37 is also shown in this publication "The Constitution Gun Deck" (a 1983 Naval Historical Center publication), which was / is an american ship.

Although the Bonhomme Richard was french before, the ship gunnery was completely changed, so I am pretty sure, that they also changed the tools and did not use the french original ones.....
so maybe one of our US-friends can explain this detail more

Congrats! A really precision build, very accurate! She is looking Awesome! Thumbsup Thumbsup Thumbsup Thumbsup Thumbsup Please submit more pictures to our complete models' section. Also, PM Donnie, He will gladly post pictures to our Galery.
Thanks - a few errors, so it would not win any comps, but for me its about the “meditation” while building.
