LE ROCHEFORT - Harbour yacht from 1787 1:36 by Tobias (Monograph by ANCRE)

Hvar is beautiful...... enjoy the time
I was living 3 years in Dubrovnik, so I know this area a little bit.
When you drive back, maybe you have time for a short vist of island Krk - there in Krk a very good friend of mine has his workshop and small museum. One of the best ship modelers I know - so please say Zeljko Skomersic best Regards from his old friend Uwe

Hello Uwe if I should run out in any way I will do that. What is definitely on my list to visit Maris Stella in Split.

Good morning Tobias. It is a beautiful place. Short story: I “lost” my 18 year old daughter there. She met up with buddies (by chance ) from University and they went partying. She sent a WhatsApp but I didn’t get it so at 3am in the morning we are searching the Island for her. I wasn’t a happy camper. All ended well tho. Enjoy your time there. Cheers Grant

Hi Grant madness story luckily it all ended well.

Have a wonderful time on holiday Tobias...the ship can wait, family should not!

Paul, thank you and yes, of course, "Family First", my brother-in-law and his wife are also there

Hello everyone,
thank you all very much. Today we had a trip to Dubrovnic planned and we quickly booked a hotel for one night. The last time I was here was almost 40 years ago.
A few impressions for you and of course also for @Uwek who lived here for three years.

Was there ones with my wife on our motorbike, when it was former Yugoslavia.

Lovely little town - but the best time there, is when no tourists are there ;)
But it seem on your photos - it is not so full - sometimes they close the entrance of the city wall, because too much people there.

So, I guess you were driving over "my" bridge, which I (and collegues) built some 20 years ago)

Sweet Memories ......

Hello Uwe,
yes we drove over this beautiful bridge. Compliment Uwe not only beautiful ships but also bridges come from your hand. What I also didn't know was that Dubrovnik was also a filming location for Game of Thrones.

Très beau travail que ce Rochefort.
Admiration totale à Tobias qui réussi l’exploit incroyable, de pouvoir réaliser deux modèles de grande qualité
en même temps: L'Amarante et le Rochefort.

Very nice work that this Rochefort. Total admiration to Tobias who achieved the incredible feat of being able to make two high quality models at the same time: Amarante and Rochefort.
Hallo @j.guydal
we wish you all the BEST and a HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Birthday-Cake

Good evening colleagues,
thanks again to everyone for your holiday wishes. We returned safe and sound and on Saturday I got lost in my workshop, tidied up a bit and got my hands on Le Rochefort.

The first 800 or 900 tree nails have found their place in the interior and now I'm waiting for my new tool, a long-necked angle drill, to drill the holes in the upper section (about 400 more holes). The mast bearing has been installed and now I have arrived at the cross beams for the floor for the cargo. Since only the starboard side is planked, I decided to use single planks on the port side to create a support surface for the cross beams.
