New kit 1:160 midship cross-section of the HMS Enterprise 1774

The tariffs for Canadian products are higher than for Chinese made products ,it is 35%
You are correct, searching online, I found what you stated. A 35% Tariffs from Canada.

From China:
  • For postal items: A tariff of 54% of the item's value or a flat fee of $100 is applied per parcel. Your shipper will likely select the cheaper of the two.
  • For packages from commercial carriers: Shipments through private couriers like FedEx and UPS are subject to a 30% ad valorem tariff.
As all the kits that I got from China were shipped by FedEx or DHL, a 30% tariff will apply.

Well, it is what it is, but at least isn't a 50% :-) . Please, let us know when the kit is available at your website. And then I do my numbers.

thank you, and have a great weekend!!

Yes, it's beautiful and I hope it's also affordable, because there are also customs duties on top ...

Every cent hurts when the wallet is so small. Unfortunately, I have an onion wallet. When I look in there, it brings tears to my eyes ...ROTF

The open framing of the ship's boats is really nice to see, especially at this tiny scale. VERY impressive!

Is there a reason you used what look a lot like Commonwealth pattern guns (1650-1715) instead of Armstrong Frederick pattern guns (1760-1790) which would have been on the Enterprise 1774? At this tiny scale I am guessing few would notice, but it is just as easy to make the AF as it is to make the Commonwealth pattern. The missing chase astragal ring and button ring is what sort of jumped out.

No matter, it's great to see a fully framed model kit at such a small scale. Well done!

Thanks
Allan
