Foremast ratlines are now completed as well as most of the foremast stays (still need to stretch the ropes but will do that a bit later). For the stays, I used Ropes of Scale black 0.8mm and 0.7mm.




I have also started working on the foremast yards.

Hello all,
I have now completed installing the main mast. I have also completed the standing rigging for the fore and main masts.
Although I made a few errors that implied some redo, this is now behind me.
Some pictures below







Now on to the mizzen mast



One thing I'll also have to do once the mizzen mast is complete is to redo rigging of the bowsprit which is too lose. I am not sure I'll be able to easily shorten the ropes. Any idea on this is definitely welcome.

Hello Glibert,
Your ship is looking great. I have the same kit and kind of perused it and noticed that there was silk span. As I looked in the plans and instructions, I noticed that they want you to silk span the hall. Is that something that you did to get your house so smooth or is just putty primer paint. Might be breaking out this kitchen soon your build is an inspiration. Chris

I did not use the silk span provided in the kit.
I used putty + sanding +primer + spray primer +paint. Nothing else
