Thank you once again Heinrich!
And tell Mike I said thank you for the compliment, and for his generous contribution supplying wheels. I know it goes beyond materials cost, as there is a considerable amount of time and energy that goes into that kind of effort, especially at those quantities!

Man, that deck furniture really looks sweet!

EJ
I have forgotten if you turned the barrels to start with. They have more detailing in the turning that I produced a couple of months ago when turning my own with the ends less recessed. I also turned a few small buckets and scored them as I failed in trying to make them from separate pieces over a mold. The type of accessories that you are putting onto the deck really give her more character for which she had to earn her way. . . even though fishing was secondary to her purpose to win races. It is rewarding to watch your progress and detailing. Rich

I purchased the barrels…your typical smooth turned wood barrel. So I just used a knife to put vertical lines around the barrel to simulate boards. Then when I stained it, the lines stand out.

Sorry, but today nothing positiv from my side about your model
But I love your cute granddaughter -
It is the best time in our life to spend time with our sweet girls (my daughter is 7 and she is also visting me sometimes in the workshop)

I think the barrels would not be enough!

Nice pictures, Uwe
Although it is not the BN:

But it is for the impression and it is impressive!
PS:
It is better to have an underexposed photo than an overexposed one. Even through old negatives, as show above. Then you can often retrieve the underlying content.
Regards, Peter
