Thanks Peter, I had already seen the incongruity of the external rather than internal bevel. When I'll mount the two bulwarks , I will also modify the bevel to correctly receive the bowsprit.

Having left my BN in the main lab, I continue to assemble the small parts available in the secondary lab.
Today I finished covering the base provided by YQ with 7x1,5mm pear strips and I also put some treenails using the usual toothpicks since I didn't use them on the frames.
Then I made the masts terminal using a small homemade lathe ...

That is a foundation that makes your BN very happy to stand on.

Forgot one important thing, at least for me: I never seen a kit with already beveled masts since 1965 when I built my first ship: the S.ta Maria of C. Colombo

As usual, in my Italian lab I only do small things both for the deck and for the main and mizzen masts. Today I did all the deadeyes of the two masts.
For the bowsprit, I proceed like Dean did on her BN. I prefer it to what YQ predicts ...

These are just unfixed because I forgot the pins in the other lab .... So I fix them and then paint all in black.
Did you have some problem when inserted the deadeyes into the their holes, because seems to be very small (holes)...

I had a little accident ... moving from one table to another, she decided to bump into a chair and drop to the floor ... Oh well, I'll do it later.
The work continues with the assembly of the decks and waterways. The solution is to reduce them in order to have everything at the same level
