Great progress Dave..I agree with your comments on lack of new offerings in the market.. I will say that I am building the 1/30 scale of the Royal Caroline and it's been challenging..The pear carvings are superb.... I like building obscure, forgotten ships with a history. My scratchbuild s so far are the WW1 OKESA, ,using pics from OKESABUILDER's build logs...1930's Chris Craft Miami Commuter yacht from a coffee table book pic... the Mohican Lake George cruise boat from photo at request of my grandson, Sidewheeler INDIANA from Taubman plan 30 years ago, with diorama.. plus the usual stuff Olympia , Confederacy and many others. I will be working on a pear version of the ECHO..a scratch build with NMM plans. ..the kicker is the figurehead was carved in Boxwood by David Anscherel (sp) I was blessed to inheret the partially finished project and am excited to continue the project..love the idea of building these obscure ships.. will be in Mystic in Sept
