Friesland - Mamoli scale 1:75

Hello dear friends
Today I made another small step filling the wooden boards between the window frames, the left side filled with almost all the intervals. It is important for me to mention that there is another layer of flanking and some of the red-colore on the frames got off, to get a smooth surface with the same height.

Hello my dear friends
Today I finished to glu, grind and smooth the wooden boards between the frames of the cannon windows .
It was a little bit Sisyphean, but I can say that I satisfy from the results, that All the frames are in the same size, they're all in the same height and everything is smooth.
Of course, thet the second layer of flanking will come on The first one, thet will be glued up to keel.
I would love to get some tips and guidance on these steps and especially on how to create the second layer of flanking on the window frames so everyone is the same size and height.
I attached number of pictures, unfortunately I am not sure that they represent A nice result.
May we all have a pleasant and fulfilling weekend

I forgot to mention that today I finished the second side of the frames / left side, of course depending on where we are looking.
About a week ago it was the right side of course

Hello my good friends
So, How I have progressed in the last days?
I started the flanking of the bottom of the ship.
In addition, I filled the intervals and incline On the bow of the ship , with the material that I made from a Carpenters Glue and sawdust.
I need to grind and smooth the flanking area in the bow , and of course another layer will come above.
In order to achieve a proper result, I will endeavor to keep the first layer as smooth as required.
Of course I am attaching pictures of the process.
I wish for all of us, to Have a lovely weekend20200625_223930.jpg20200625_223848.jpg20200625_223841.jpg20200625_215819.jpg20200625_215803.jpg20200625_214115.jpg20200625_214104.jpg20200625_214056.jpg20200625_214038.jpg20200625_214033.jpg

Hello dear Friends
In the last hour I focused in grinding and smoothing the surface of the planking of the bow ship.
I used a variety of tools to get a good display. It is difficult to illustrate the image but the line is straight and smooth.
Wishing us all a fun and happy weekend.20200626_144010.jpg20200626_143457.jpg20200626_142940.jpg20200626_142856.jpg

Hello dear friends
This past week I continued with the planking of the first layer.
As you probably know, this is a process that requires patience and accuracy with gluing the boards, repeated sanding .
In one of the photos I will attach you will see a number of manual sanders that were broken due to the pressure I applied and also because the alloy from which they are made is not of sufficient quality.
By the way one of the best methods for smoothing the surface of the planking which I learned from my good friend, is to use a microscope slides.
The truth is that there is not much left to finish the first layer, and spend time on sanding and smoothing the surface to a smooth and straight surface.
I will attach some pictures from the progress of the process.
May we all have a fun and productive weekend

hello friends
As I updated minutes ago on Hannah's blog I was working today on both ships in parallel .
So here I finished the first layer of the planking almost completely.
I have to paste another board and a half and sand the surface.
Then of course as a filler and I will continue to sand and smooth the surface.
I attaching some pictures.
Wishing us all a pleasant day
