GOLDEN HIND by Occre [COMPLETED BUILD]

Got the bowspirte yard built today along with getting the sail on it too. You see the sail sitting on my metal water jug, I use a 50/50 water mixture so that it will hold the shape. I let sit for about 4 to 6 hrs. Using the blocks that I got from dry dock and some hooks I got from amanti to attach the blocks to the bottom corners of the sail. And went ahead and rigged the bowspirte and sail in place. Later on I'll add some ropes hanging from the belay pins. Also was able to get the mezzin mast made, stained and in place. Thank you. Usually I'm not able to work on it much when I work days because I normally go to the gym after work and then 3am comes fast. And when I work nights I might try to get in an hour after work but when I'm off thats when I'm able to devote most of my time.

When the masses speak I listen. I had many conversations with people not only here bit also in some of the groups I'm in on Facebook and the overwhelming task about yes it looks great but also somewhat incorrect as to how the yard and sail is hung on the bowspirte. Well I do believe she is fixed now lol. 20220218_180345.jpg20220218_180350.jpg20220218_180356.jpg20220218_180413.jpg
