As far as I know, the price in China is about $300, and there will be good after-sales service. I am not sure what the price of KIT of the same value will be on EBAY.

No, $300 is its final price. Of course, what I am talking about is the price of China. Export goods should include taxes, shipping, etc. So, I don't know what the price of the goods you get.
Because the kit is a structural model, I guess the final version will not have sails and ropes, while other details will still have castings.
