HMS ALERT 1777 cutter POF by shota70 [COMPLETED BUILD]

Dear Friends
I finished installing the cannon carts about three days ago and only now found a few minutes to share the photos with you Thank you all so much for the support
Despite the difficult days and also to clear my head and reflect peace and normality to our young children, I dedicated several hours to start working on the anchors.

My dear friends,
thank you for your support and encouragement to the people of Israel ! My family and I feeling fine
I'm continuing to create the ship.
At this stage I am making progress in preparing the anchor.
At this stage I prepare the buoy for the anchor.
I am asking for your assistance to check if the size and scale of the buoy matches the size of the anchor.
The dimensions of the float are:
length - 2.56 cm
Width (at the widest point) - 1.6 cm
Do I need to resize them or are the proportions correct?
Thanks in advance for the answer

Good morning Shota. Hang in there! Awesome modelling. Cheers Grant

for me the body of the bouy is looking slightly too big.

I think it was somehow written in Harland, that the bouy is one quarter of the length of the anchor shaft.
The rope was one third of the anchor cable - something like this, but I will make further research

not really informative, but nice

Oops. Sorry Uwe. I posted before I saw this...

Dear Shota. With all the cannons in place your Alert looks simply wonderful. You have managed to achieve a real warmth emanating from the model.

Current Conflict:

My dear friend, my thoughts and prayers are with you and the people of Israel during these difficult times. Have no doubt - Israel will prevail!

we are in difficult days, but we will defeat the terror and evil!!

Hello dear friends
Today I managed to find several hours to work on the model. I completed my first float.
Would like to point out that I reduced the size of the floats in accordance with the information contributed above. Unfortunately, I was not able to fit the brass rings, so I replaced them with colored black circles, and at the end I applied oil.
accept my apologies, I'm just exhausted from days of restlessness. So I'll let the pictures express themselves/the creative process. Love you and happy to be part of such a special community

Hallo my friend,
In principle a good solution and is looking good.
Unfortunately you made a small mistake with the ropes

When you take a close look at the red arrows painted at the sketch Paul alias @dockattner posted

The "green" rope is laying under the blue rope - with this way it is fixed and can not move so much

On your buoy I marked the wrong area with red arrow - they are above - the green arrow part is correct

There is nothing to be sorry for, my dear friend, we only learn to improve from mistakes. Will be fixed in the next float
