A productive day spent in the workshop. With the addition of the breast hook , the forward platform deck compartment has been Clou'd. The ladder for the hatch leading to the coal hole is made, and l have begun work on the cabin walls for this section of the ship. Templates are provided for each wall or bulkhead to help get the shape and sizes right. Every strip needs sanding to remove the laser char and reduce their width very slightly as they are all minutely oversize. A bit of a job as these pieces are very small.

Progressing with the cabin walls for the forward platform deck. After the final front wall is made up, the hinges and grilles on all doors are next to be fixed, then a coat of Clou will finish off the whole cabin assembly

just one hint
I realized when making mine, that removing of the laser char on the ladder elements before fixing the ladder together is much easier than afterwards
