HMS Ontario 1780 scale 1:32 POB full version

Very helpful and often even thinner is Origami paper - I bought once a wider collection in black and dark brown, so depending of the scale and location I can find the correct one

Try tu use motheod on this site. http://leggshipmodeling.blogspot.com/2009/11/caulked-deck-for-wooden-ship-model.html. It will not be necessary to glue every piece of paper separately.
Hello guys,so I used the method in the link posted above, here are a few process images.
I stacked up 10 planks, applied Pva glue on the paper and placed the stacked planks on it secured them by clamps. After drying I trimmed the paper and separated one plank with an Exacto knife.

I am in total agreement with Maarten.50/50 Mix of the two will be somewhere near.Caldercrafts red ochre may be historically correct but looks too dark on a model IMHO.I don't wish to start a new topic on "you can't scale colour and the way it reflects light" thoughROTFROTF

Kind Regards

Nigel
