HMS Vanguard - Amati - scale 1:72 - Foto

Заведи, как на модели из Гринвича, вдоль тела утлегаря.

The model is absolutely beautiful.

I am confused about one thing. The metal stropping on the blocks look fantastic but the British Navy ships used rope strops until the mid19th century. Was Vanguard 1787 different? I have read of some heavy duty blocks getting metal strops on British Navy ships as early as 1800 but this was the exception, not the rule.

I do not know how to use this model correctly. - https://www.rmg.co.uk/collections/o...m_medium=organic&utm_source=yandexsmartcamera I liked the metal straps on the blocks and decided to make them.

The model is surely a subject to use as an example. The strops you made look exactly the same which is really great. I am surprised though about there being metal strops that early. Again, to have a week or so with the Waback machine or befriending H. George Wells for a ride back in time.
