You to.Hi Grant
I'll give it a try but I am not sure this will be possible.
Let me see.
Anyway, good luck for the game

I’ve been following your build of the HMS Victory, and it’s impressive how detailed the rigging looks! On a different note, while taking breaks from modeling, I’ve been exploring some online entertainment, and mr fortune casino ca caught my attention. They have a solid variety of games and smooth navigation, which makes downtime fun between modeling sessions. If anyone’s looking for a reliable site to unwind after hours of precision work on kits like this. It’s a nice mix of casual play and more challenging options, perfect for anyone who enjoys strategy, even outside of scale modeling.Hello friends
As I have now completed the Amerigo Vespucci, I am starting a new project: 1:72 Caldercraft HMS Victory.
I was looking to purchase this kit a few months ago and thanks to SoS, one of our members has agreed to sell me his kit (thank you Kurt).
I brought back the large and heavy box back to France and I am now ready to get started.
In order to have all the elements at hand, I purchased a few books that I am sure will guide me thru the process.
Let's now get started

Threads like this always remind me how much patience and planning a large-scale Victory build actually requires, and it’s motivating to see steady progress instead of rushed steps. When I’m taking breaks from my own modeling sessions, I often unwind by reading forums like this or relaxing a bit online, and at one point I ended up using monacobet-sk.net in between sanding and rigging sessions. It’s not really about gambling for me, more about switching my brain off for a short while before getting back to careful, precise work at the bench. In that sense, having a balance between focused modeling and light downtime makes long projects like this much more enjoyable.
Well done great job doneHello friends
I have now completed the hull copper plating. I needed 10 days for the port side, thus a little bit faster than the starboard side.
Quite happy with the results; pictures below.
Later this week, I'll be traveling to the US to spend the holidays with my children and grand children and will be off for a little over 2 months. No ship building during this period.
Cheers

Good morning Gilbert. As always beautiful work. I’m looking forward to this Victory’s progress as you build such impressive ships. Cheers GrantHello friends
After a long break visiting my children and grand children in the US, I am now back in France and have resumed the Victory build.
First thing has been to install the gratings, coamings and upper gun deck ladders.

After such a long break, I have to say that resuming the build proves to be very slow and painful.
But I'm sure that after a few days things will be smoother.
Cheers
Thank you MellpapaHello, Gilbertm.
All that detailed work must be exhausting.
But the results of your delicate work are truly wonderful.![]()

Hello AllanHaving gratings that appear to be to scale and with a solid outer edge is so good to see. They look "grate" Are these from the kit or did you make your own?
Merci Gilbert.
Allan
