Nice boat!
These boats looks greatGood morning- I’m fighting with slack hanging lines.Yoda’s (Kurt’s) advice is Jedi master skill level. So took a rest from rigging and played with some detail for my Launch.
Made a grappling hook from wire and some oars (plenty to go) from left over deck planks and wire. These boats are my chill out go to place.

Thanks Kurt.Nice boat!
Thanks ShotaThese boats looks great
Good morning Paul. They are cotton. I think as I have pulled my ropes through beeswax the PVA does not work to well. I think these need to be “raw” for the PVa to create shape. Cheers GrantHey, are you using cotton or poly ropes? Diluted PVA won't work on poly ropes - you have to use CA or varnish/shellac...
Good evening. Thanks. Grant the rigger back at running these little lines. Cheers GrantGrant's Victory looks better and better every time I see its continuing journey towards perfection. - cheers to 'Grant the builder'/'Grant the Rigger'.
Thanks Heinrich. I agree, I don’t know how some guys manage so much detail at small scale on small ships. At 1:78 scale and the Victory being rather large, I still battle to achieve some in my own manner. Cheers GrantThe launch looks magnificent, Grant and the details you have added are stunning. There is just no way that I can emulate that accuracy and detail in my current build. For that I will have to wait until the next one.
Thank Jan.Another fine piece of work. A great addition to Grant’s Victory.
Good morning Roger- that has a nice ring to it….. internationally acclaimed in South Africa , US and China“Grant, Paul and Heinrich Marine Company” .
and Kurt. You forgot to mention Kurt.Beautiful launch/boat Grant. I think I need to spend some time studying at the small boat builder yard of “Grant, Paul and Heinrich Marine Company” .
Good morning. Launch completed :Made some more oars and lashed them together. I have only put in half the number as the full count looked overbearing.

Problem: Mantua placement of the boats stands means that the bow of the launch is over the brace lines and blocks attached to the first skid beam.

The boat doesn’t fit on the stands (red arrow)as it is. I am either going to have to scratch build these or move them aft. They are incredibly inaccurate however I’m not sure I have the resources to remake these. I will check my scrap box.
Cheers Grant
Good morning, Grant.Good evening. After trying one or two slack, hanging braces, I decided to stick with my original plan of keeping them loose but very little or no hang.
I have almost completed the fore and main course braces. I also decided to include the preventer braces as well.

Yikes, you are correct (sorry Kurt) but that now means an overhaul of the company and small boat paperwork - registration, certificate replacement, transfer of ownership etc.and Kurt. You forgot to mention Kurt.
I am afraid Heinrich's involvement in the company is that of making coffee for the other partners while they build their magnificent small boats.Beautiful launch/boat Grant. I think I need to spend some time studying at the small boat builder yard of “Grant, Paul and Heinrich Marine Company” .
