Exactly...I love real coffee - the only way, no instant.
I have to agree that it makes for an impressive display!Good morning Paul. It has been fun working out how to rig these sail control lines. Clearly the belay points are the same. For the end which attach to the sails, my approach has been 2 fold.
1. I make a joggle on the end of the line which ends at the last block before it would connect to, or go around the sail (mainly for the cluelines and buntlines) and ;
2. The sheet and tack lines I run through the required blocks and "sail" end it is tied to the yard).
The brace and preventer brace lines are as normal.
I have stuggled to illustrate this in my build log and I realise I am confusing guys more than myself .
I am really glad I made the call to "fully" rig the Victory as it has been fun learning and researching all the rigging. It also has made Grants Victory very busy and I like that. My biggest issue is the belay points which I have too few of. (Lesson learnt if one decides to "modify" or go beyond instructions one has to start from the beginning of the build process and have a good research reference.).
Cheers Grant
Thanks Paul.I have to agree that it makes for an impressive display!
With sails....Good afternoon. Very little work on Grants Victory. I played a bit to get the clue, sheet and tack garnet strop sort of resembling what is on the Portsmouth Victory. 3 to go.

Good afternoon and Thanks Paul.
Good evening Jan. I’m pretty clueless right now too. I’m trying to see how I can get the 3 blocks with a strop knot (as in Paul’s @dockattner diagram) to work without the clue of the sail there to keep it all together. No clue what so ever. Cheers GrantOh wow, just catching up and don’t have a “clew” what this all about. I’m learning as you progress with this ‘rigging business”. Yup, that’s me, an “old dog” earning new tricks
Good morning Roger. The difficulty I have experienced is rigging the sail lines with no sails there. It has been throughout my rigging and up until now it was relatively simple using the yards and “end” blocks to finish off the lines which normally attached to the sail. The lines which normally are attached to the sail are be “fixed” to the yard below via a block or tied to the yard itself. This applies to the top gallant and top sail lines.Ok,I’m lost too but I admire your attention to detail and as for the clue, I also haven’t a clue what the clue your clue refers too . Oh boy.
