True storyYikes, you are correct (sorry Kurt) but that now means an overhaul of the company and small boat paperwork - registration, certificate replacement, transfer of ownership etc.

Good evening Heinrich….but your coffee is questionable. No Nescafé Cheers GrantI am afraid Heinrich's involvement in the company is that of making coffee for the other partners while they build their magnificent small boats.
Good evening Peter. Thanks. At this stage each photo just has more lines and ropes. It can get a bit monotonous for you guys as I just show more ropes, hanks and coils.. Rigging a ship of the line sometimes seems like “Action- play- repeat” Cheers GrantGood morning, Grant.
The little boat looks great on the deck. And the overall appearance……… I had already posted, it looks impressive. Now even more.
Regards, Peter
Hi Grant, you should consider making a stop motion animation of your rigging.Good evening Peter. Thanks. At this stage each photo just has more lines and ropes. Questionable you say? That's a euphemism, if I ever saw one...Good evening Heinrich….but your coffee is questionable. No Nescafé Cheers Grant
No! Heaven forbid that coffee be wasted (unless it's Ricoffee, Fristo, Nescafe, etc.). Pass all unwanted coffee to yours truly.Seeing that my offered coffee is not accepted, I will just retire to the WB Shipyard.
It's not so much yóur coffee as it is the brand you're advertising.Seeing that my offered coffee is not accepted, I will just retire to the WB Shipyard.
And here I thought the Americans had it bad...No! Heaven forbid that coffee be wasted (unless it's Ricoffee, Fristo, Nescafe, etc.). Pass all unwanted coffee to yours truly.
Retire to my shipyard and refrain from making coffee - not from anything else I assure you. It's not so much yóur coffee as it is the brand you're advertising.
And honestly, I don't think this is a valid reason to withhold your expertise and knowledge from this little undertaking.
Wow your Victory is immaculate Grant, well done! Wonderful attention to detail.Good evening. After trying one or two slack, hanging braces, I decided to stick with my original plan of keeping them loose but very little or no hang.
I have almost completed the fore and main course braces. I also decided to include the preventer braces as well.

Good morning Johan. Thanks. I am starting to get myself tangled a little. I always knew this would happen as using the Mantua (limited rigging) plans when I made the belay pin racks there was going to be too few. I thought I could make a plan - well it has become interesting to say the least- rookie at work for sure. Cheers GrantTruly impressive model.
With every step towards completion I find it increasingly more difficult to wrap my mind around the fact this is your first build.
As far as the new company is concerned; how about a first project, a cheatsheet: how to scratch build your own launch (or chaloup, or whatyoumightcallit).
Good morning. Thanks Wander. Much appreciated. Cheers GrantWow your Victory is immaculate Grant, well done! Wonderful attention to detail.
- Good morning Heinrich. I would share a Nescafé coffee with you anytime. When you visit Melkbosstrand someday I will make sure I have some for you. Cheers GrantRetire to my shipyard and refrain from making coffee - not from anything else I assure you.
Once I've completed all the bits and pieces on deck, I'll have to do exactly that; decide upon sails/no sails (tentative wíth sails), which rigging plan I want to use and make an inventory of modifications that are required to make it all work. Still quite a few challenges head....I thought I could make a plan - well it has become interesting to say the least- rookie at work for sure. Cheers Grant
Just out of curiosity; what's wrong with real coffee?- Good morning Heinrich. I would share a Nescafé coffee with you anytime. When you visit Melkbosstrand someday I will make sure I have some for you. Cheers Grant
All this rigging without sails is confusing for me. I know why you didn't want to include them (sails) - and I absolutely agree with that decision - but without the sails it's hard for me to envision how to rig lines that exist solely for the purpose of sail control... Too late now to walk back that decision so I'll just sit here scratching my head (as you must be doing as well ).Good morning.
I have had to put the yard braces for the main course on hold. I need buy a new 0.5mm drill bit- dropped and broke mine.
Researching the lower main and fore yard for Cluelines, tacks and sheets.
These all run through 3 blocks in a span below the yards- there will 4 of them. Here is a picture on the Victory. I need to see how these go.

Good morning Paul. It has been fun working out how to rig these sail control lines. Clearly the belay points are the same. For the end which attach to the sails, my approach has been 2 fold. All this rigging without sails is confusing for me.
