Hohenzollernmodell 1660-1670 Scale 1/75 POF build by Stephan Kertész (Steef66)

Here then are the promised photos of the egg house. Made from the thick planks of a pine bed. Sawed those all thin, sanded and glued them together. I made swallow joints for the first time and it went fine. The cutouts for the eggs had to be tapered, since I don't have a hand router this had to be done with chisel and old fashioned sanding.

That is a really awesome piece of work. How did you get the chook to go inside and lay her eggs so neatly? :)

Here at home everything is ready for the modelexpo in the Scheepvaartmuseum Amsterdam this Saturday.

Meeting a lot of model friends and seeing a lot of magnificent models. I only take my Spanish Galleon and the HZ model and some tools with mee. No space in the car to take also the PW with me.
That last one got a temporary place on the chimney where normally the Galleon is placed.
