Donnie I used Beech I had leftover from Blandford for the keel too. Just the wing transom I did one of the three in Cherry as it’s thicker.
Center hull frames rough cut. Tomm I’ll do the fore and aft rising frames.
19 frames out of 32, running on you Tony.

None of the joints are where they are on the plans. That’s the Hahn method. Some are close some aren’t at all.
Believe me after this step it’s going to be at a snails pace from there on in !

Oh yeaaa it is close but it’s ok ! On second look hmmm ? I made a new frame for that one just now. ! Ill keep it as a spare.

Cut out the rest of the frames. I did make another number 20 Tobias ! The frames will be set aside now and I’ll work on gluing up the keel assembly hoping the fit is good and it fits in the jig.
I made yet a 4th wing transom since the other 3 just weren’t to my liking. Now I have the keel assembly built I can test things.
My wing transom does not come down to the stern post knee extension and it should. To correct this I can move the top of the jig down of course but will that interfere with the frames later ? Which datum or measuring point should I use to set the top of the jig ? If I remember right I used the broadside plan and the sheer plan.

Hi Toni I think the crossbeam should rest on the sternpost.
Yea it should that’s my question. How do I make that happen ?? Just lower the jig ? I see how my frames don’t fit in the jig either. I haven’t final sanded them but it’s going to be a very tight fit either way.
Here you can also see very well why it does not fit into your shape, you have oriented your top plate to the shape of the hull. The options you have now are as follows: Cut out the plate further or move it down a little (waterline).
