I vote for no rolling under and sewing. The bolt rope is visible on the edge of the sail.
How did you hide the rope ends on clews an cringles?
The clew is continuous with the bolt rope - the cringle was also continuous and then I glued a bit of rope under it to create a visual solution even though it was done wrong. I think the patch under the cringle would be optional.
More shrouds. 
I think one of my responses to this thread ended up in the Bermuda triangle. Maybe I forgot to click post reply. Anyhow, I hope you're feeling better soon, Vic and have a few more builds left in you. You're Soleil Royal is looking beautiful.
I just counted all the deadeyes I will have done before I’m finished: 204! I probably shouldn’t have counted.

The holes in the deadeyes aren’t big enough to thread the lanyards through.

It’s easier and quicker than trying to thread them through even when I coat the end with ca. I’m already using the thinnest thread I have to replace the supplied rope.

I only have to do it with the smallest deadeyes.
Vic, I used smaller ropes for the upper deadeyes
I used sewing thread, and the holes were still too small.
