@John Reid John, I'm sure @donfarr Don Farr will forgive me - but he is 82 and building strong - Bluenose included!
My frames sit VERY tight in the Bluenose jig. A light sanding of the top-timber of these frames (or a quick run of a file through the notches of the jig) will ease that a bit.Some are pretty tight.
I find that Lepage Pro high initial tack carpenters glue works very well.PVA without question - as that will result in the neatest application.
OMG you are correct.be aware - I think the frame marked with the red arrow should be 180° turned - fore to aft
