Just found the correct info at the translation of the manual

I did not realize before, that the deck of the Bluenose had a step in the height with a visble deck beam (I hope that Bluenose and Bluenose II are in this detail similar)

That is a great photo, I am going to save it.
 
Question to Group!
What would the cross section of the rudder look like? Square, rounded, round corners?

Looking for something to do while glue dries. :)
