Same for the MS 18th Century Longboat in 1:48 scale, but even smaller measurements to contend with. I pondered why they would do this on one side only and the only reason I can come up with is that they force us to extend our skills by doing 'extra'.Cutting the rabbit was a tad tricky. The bearding line was printed on one side of the center keel for the back section and on the other side of the keel for the front section. I'm not sure why they didn't do it on both sides for both sections (cost control?) but it requires the builder to take careful measurements from the printed side and transfer it to the other side. We're talking about distances less than 1/32" and it's almost impossible to do it accurately even using a pencil sharpened to a deadly point. Oh well, some kits don't even include a printed bearding line so I'm considering myself lucky.
