Modelship Dockyard - New Kit [Modelship Dockyard] PoF H.M.S. Enterprize 1774, the 1/48 version!

Any idea when the 1/48 version will be out? I leaving for Florida around the first of November and would like to work on it over the winter. And golf of course.
Initially they said April/May of this year, but they have moved it a few times. I would imagine they are getting VERY close.

I might not wait for the 1/48 version. I don't think I will be liking the price. but on the other hand, I believe that I read that the rigging will be added?
That is what they said in an earlier post. I'm pretty sure the masting/rigging set will be an additional cost.

well, i went ahead and purchased the 1/96 Enterprize, pearwood. I guess I am a glutton for punishment, but I believe I can work with that scale, even though it is small. Anyways, no choice now.

I made the jump too... bought mine almost a year ago. I will get to it soon enough.... still couple ships to complete first. Indeed, the small size will be a challenge by itself. But should really nice once complete and won't require its own room to display.

What do you do with your older models? How do you get ride of them? I have the same issue. I've offered a few to friends. Not interested.

I don't have a solution. My wife did take 2 for decorating her classroom, which gave me room for 2 new ships, but I have about 6 in my stash, so I think I will be throwing away the ones that I don't like.
Why not posting them for sale here on the forum ,most of the kits are sold if the price is resonable.

yup. I tried. No one wants to buy them. I wouldn't buy the ones I want to sell either. lol
