Trying to find the numbers for the STEP 65 Lower DEck Wateways and Fittings
Fittings seem to be 3m square (With gratings ??)
But i assume the waterways are shaped

Thinking Ahead How are the mast Mounted - There are blocks With HOles - unnumbered which i presume go somewhere
BUT!

Thanks and happy new Year

Richard....not Victor, but.
Lower deck bulkheads have no part numbers found on parts sheets.
This numbers relate to what should be on sheet #5 but missing.
Really not a big issue, if you measure up length on sheets, it's pretty obvious where they lie, allowing for slight angles on long walls with doors, all made from strip.
Again, be sure to insure height fits "your hull".

P.S. use 3x3 strips, makes no earthly difference.

got no 3x3 either 4x4 will make a difference as ive cut slots for 4 x 4
Yes now I know i have lightly fitted the beams foromm13 to stern Hoping to work out which long bulkhead is at back
The longer side one appers to be stern as it fits side of ship

Different construction, buddy, no slots of any kind on those bulkheads.
Again, should be mentioned, with a saw, even inexpensive one, which should be essential tool for most ship projects, you can rip whatever you need…..right from edges of parts sheets.
All those sheets have lots of matching wood for supplemental odds and ends.
Cannot count how many extras sourced from those sheets.

OK, little side project since I did basic assembly & paint on stove for a little distraction.
Did a bit work/paint on beech sheet for brick base under stove.
Still have to part off &edge finished, maybe a bit more dry brushing.
What do you folks think?

Tim

Glad to help Tim. I need to try dry brushing next time, thank YOU. I usually just partially mix a little bit of brown and black in with a dark red but only a rough stir so it is streaky, not a smooth single shade throughout. One of those things that the worse the effort in mixing the better the results. :)
