I agree it is hard enough trying to do it using plastic.It's so difficult making details in such a small model with such course grained wood.

Hi John,Its a small scale but it is already beautiful!!!
Actually i am a bit late, but if you couldn't find other material for the windows you could make a jig and make them using ropes. Also if you like you could add dummy cannons made with a resin 3d printer, these printers can make very small pieces and you can glue them with CA glue if i am not mistaken.
